18th IP5 Heads Meeting Series Convened in Tianjin

On May 27-28, the 18th Heads Meeting Series of the Five IP Offices of China, the US, Europe, Japan and the Republic of Korea (IP5) was held in Tianjin. The meeting was presided over by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) in its rotating capacity. Shen Changyu, Commissioner of CNIPA, chaired the meeting. Antonio Campinos, President of the European Patent Office (EPO), Yutaka Ono, Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office (JPO), and Wan-gil Kim, Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), attended the meeting leading their respective delegations. Takeshi Igarashi, Senior Representative of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), attended as an observer. Concurrently, a meeting between the IP5 and industry representatives was held.
